Standing proudly in the heart of Tanunda, Old Mill Brewery is one of the Barossa Valley’s most recognisable landmarks. Originally built in 1848 as a flour mill, the historic stone building has long been woven into the story of the region, standing as a symbol of craftsmanship, community and the pioneering spirit that helped shape Tanunda and the wider Barossa Valley.
New generation
Now, a new generation is giving the Old Mill a fresh chapter. Built by locals with a love for good beer, good wine, good food and good company, the vision has always been simple: create a place that showcases the very best of the Barossa under one roof. While the bones and history of the mill remain proudly intact, the space has been reimagined with a few modern touches along the way, creating a relaxed Barossa pub atmosphere where craft beer, local wine, live music and community come together under one unforgettable roof.

Rehn Bier is the craft beer backbone of Old Mill.
Led by Josh, the brand has quickly built a strong reputation in South Australia’s beer scene, bringing a fresh energy to traditional brewing styles. Inspired by old-world classics, each beer is given a modern edge, resulting in a lineup defined by balance, flavour and finesse.
From crisp and refreshing to more complex pours, Rehn Bier is a true all-rounder behind the bar. It’s craft beer done properly.
Forage Brew co.
Forage Brew Co is the modern edge at Old Mill.
Born from the same crew behind Forage Supply Co, it’s driven by a genuine love of beer and a focus on fresh, easy-drinking styles full of flavour. Inspired by local surroundings, the range reflects a sense of place, occasionally crossing into the wine world.
Each release is expressive, approachable and made to be shared. Brewed for good times, no overthinking required.

Forage Supply Co brings the wine to life at Old Mill.
Founded by Barossa mates Scotty and Justin, the range is built around premium drops made for everyday enjoyment. With bright blends, vibrant whites and the cult-favourite Baby Face, it’s a lineup meant to be shared.
Together, they back projects that support community and help those doing it tough. The result is a label rooted in purpose, producing fresh wines with a big impact and a light footprint - all while keeping the glasses full and the good time rolling.
Sally can wait
Sally Can Wait is the food vision that sets Old Mill apart.
Led by head chef Kane Boase, whose experience includes Fino, Botanic and 2KW, the kitchen delivers a food program built around flavour, balance and inclusivity. Around 60% of the menu is gluten-free or vegan/vegetarian, creating a space where everyone is catered for without compromise.
Expect southern-style barbecue, modern pub classics and lighter, plant-based plates, all designed to be shared. It’s food you want to eat, in a place you want to be.
